Sam Santhosh is the CEO and Managing Director of Calsoft; the company he founded in 1992. Focused on leading Calsoft to achieve improved growth in revenue and profitability; Sam oversaw the growth of Calsoft in all key areas – Finance, Strategy and Customer acquisition. Calsoft went public in the year 1996 and today employs over 1000 people in 12 global locations.
A Malayalee from Thrissur; Sam has an engineering degree and an MBA (majoring in Management Information Systems) from India’s premier institute IIM, Calcutta. A management expert Sam has over the years addressed students of various MBA colleges on topics ranging from Management to Science and Business. Sam has been written about in various top business and news magazines on his achievements as a CEO of Calsoft.
He is a voracious reader and an enthusiastic traveler. Sam has an overwhelming interest in science & history and is more then happy to spend his free time talking and spreading the word on his pet subjects – genetics, bio technology, nano technology, renewable energy and green technology.
The MBA Grand Challenge stems out of his desire to instill an interest of reading books in the young generation as also to give budding managers a platform to voice their opinions on contemporary subjects.
